Have a knack for photography? Or do you want to try your hand at videography? Put your skills to the test in the Calhoun-Gordon County Photo/Video contest happening now – October 31. Get your cameras ready!

Copper Creek Farm Corn Maze & Pumpkin Fest
10 a.m. – 6 p.m. & 6 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.
Get in the fall spirit with corn mazes, hayrides, bon fires and more! On Saturdays, the farm opens at 10 a.m. and features family friendly activities like the pumpkin cannon, pig races, gem mining, a kiddie maze and pony rides. After 6 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, guests can choose to venture out into the giant flashlight maze or for the braver folks, the haunted maze. New this year, there will be fireworks every Saturday night! The farm is open to the public every Friday and Saturday in October beginning September 30th and also on October 30th and 31st.

Calligraphy Class
10 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Harris Arts Center
Caryn Sims will teach two three-hour calligraphy classes this month (the second class is Thursday, October 26 from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m.). Both classes are introductory and participants are welcome to attend one or both classes. Classes are limited to 12 students, so pre-registration is required. The cost per class is $15 for non-members & $12 for HAC members.

Haunted Library Celebration
12 p.m. – 2 p.m. at Calhoun-Gordon County Library
For teens in grades 6-12, activities include a workshop on special effects makeup, haunted game time, a scary story collaboration, and pizza.

Payne Farm Family Fall Fun
Saturdays 1 p.m. – 10 p.m. & Sundays 1 p.m. – 5 p.m.
Starting this weekend, enjoy hayrides, barrel train rides, petting barn, corn pits, playground, and a jump pad Saturdays & Sundays in October. Outdoor movies will begin at dark on Saturday nights. Admission is $7/ages 2 & under free. Pumpkins, mums, and
produce available daily at the farm stand.
